| Re: girl in need of a foundation routine! well i know that different foods take different times to process through your body (GI and all that) so i normally stick with mostly carbs and a little protien around 2 hours before training. But I have also heard that is you want to keep your fat percentage down, you should not eat for at least an hour after training because your body is in its most effecient energy saving mode ie - storing food as fat for a rainy day. Any clarification on this theory? and.....
is it best to have most of your carbs early in the day because of slowing metabolic rate?
