| Re: Simple Meal i would not personally recommend eating the same meal six times a day. Apart from making sure you cover all angles with carbs, aminos, vitamins and fats it would be bl00dy boring!!! A sure fire way to start allowing bad foods to creep in!!
I keep my diet simple. Baked spuds, sweet pots, pasta, wraps, oats, beans (and other pulses) and rice for carbs.
Chicken, eggs and fish for protein. It probably takes me 30 mins to prepare three meals each night, if that.
Maybe not the best way to proceed but I use the microwave for a lot of my meals (ie cooking chicken, fish and eggs etc).
Also, which amazes all of my friends and family (as I am very anal like this) I will go to Costco once every 1 - 2 weeks and buy a sh1t load of chicken and fish. When at home I will cust the meat up and put it into bags weighing between 120 and 150g each. I put them in the freezer and when I need a protein source I just grab a bag, defrost it and cook it. Simple is as simple does. The missus was not happy to start with but the top draw of the freezer is 'my meat draw'!!!!! - it really p1sses me off when the in-laws come round for tea and four of the bags get used up, I am a miserable tight bugger like that. I think why do they need the protein!!!
At the moment I am sitting heare eating my 12.30 meal which today consists of a bowl of oats with chicken, peanut butter and an assortment of strange nuts, seeds and berries in it. Lovely.
