For most people, it is not worth the extra money to use pure whey protein isolate. Using whey protein concentrate with isolate blended delivers just as good results with less costs. Many bodybuilders say that they don't notice whey protein isolate giving them any large gains over whey concentrate.

Note: If you are lactose intolerant, whey protein isolate is a better choice because it contains less lactose.
