| Re: Seated cable row v's Bent over rows with back problem. You can still do stuff like dumb bell rows both at once lay chest down on an incline bench. If done carefully, you can even go heavy on these with little or no risk to the lumbar spine. They are a bit of a kick in the ego as you will not be able to use anything like the same weight as doing them single arm at once, but they are a great thickener to the upper back, rhomboids & mid traps.
