Quick question for you...

Although i've never been a body builder i am no stranger to the gym, my problem is that over recent years my work and social life has got in the way of my working out and i'm about two stone over weight (the wrong type of weight).

Is it possible to start a body building program now, or would you suggest that i trim down a bit first and then start to build muscle mass. I am 185cm tall, and weigh 17 stones exactly.
