Re: Specific Knee Pain

Sounds to me like the wraps have caused the patellar tendon to track outside of the patellarfemoral groove. This will result in inflammation in the short term & a strain in the long term if left unchecked.

Do a heat/ice alternation for half an hour every day (5 mins ice, 5 mins heat) & take some anti inflams like ibuprofen (if you are ok to take them). Burn the wraps too, they are not worth the trouble IMO. You will see some improvement in a few days but it sounds like you have been aggravating the problem for a while so don't expect overnight results.
