Re: Body For Life by Bill Phillips.

Beginners book really Hacks, I recommended my gf the womens version, simple explantions of the defeciency of western diets/lifestyles. He uses anecdotal advice to newbie trainers to make points and does it very well.
What I like about it is the 'no thrills' advice, Phillips' isn't afraid to plug the simple principles of a healthy lifestyle - decent diet and regular exercise.

He is a businessman though and he didn't sell EAS for millions without being slightly coy, he seems to think that you can't complete the program unless you have at least 3 Myoplex's every day (along with at least 3 other EAS supps)

He used to be very hardcore when he owned MuscleMedia (which is still one of the best supplement-owned fitness magazines IMO) back in the 1990's he even said 1 steroid cycle a year was completley fine.
Then he realised he could make more money by appealing to the mainstream and started EAS and Body-for-Life.

Definately worth a read but I don't think you discover anything in there you don't already know.
