Hey, it's not stupid bud, at least you had the good sense to seek experienced advice first. It's great to see the enthusiasm. it may be of use in these early stages to use light weights only, so you can master exercise form for when you are ready to hit the iron hard.

I'd work on the basic compound moves that will provide a perfect foundation:
Squats
Deadlifts
Incline bench pressing (flat benching carries too much risk)
barbell rows.

Like I say though, weight is to be minimal. All you need to do is focus on getting technique right & you'll be streets ahead of most guys when you start training hard.
