i have coded many chatroom clietns, i also own my IRC server and can filter anything that comes and goes through it. not that u need to own a server, if u built a simple app, u can p**** the data and filter it before it is displayed anyway. if you have any probs paul, giz a shout. building irc based clients is a hobby for me.
