Sounds like inflammation is still upsetting perhaps your femoral nerve, try anti inflammatories and rest for another couple of weeks. Localised heat application could probably help and some light massage to stimulate blood flow.

Most GP's do listen, they just don't have much time for sportsmen unfortunately!

Thanks for the reply

The aching is slowly going away now, so not so concerned anymore, but I will pay a visit to be on the safe side.

I have had dead legs in the past, but they normally go within a day or two but this was pretty bad being nearly 3 weeks and its still there! lol
