Is she nursing?
If so, she will be burning quite a few calories and those 2 extra stones will disappear soon enough.
Have her eat 3 eggs a day and drink one quart of low fat milk if she is nursing.
Have her drink a 16oz glass of water after each nursing.
Increase her nut intake during the day before 6:00pm
Have your wife go walking for 30-45 minutes every day by strolling the baby.

These things suggested by Tat are a definite must do in my opinion. They helped me lose the extra flab.
