At least it is the off season. I am going to stay on the diet cause I don't want to pull a Lee Priest again.
8 weeks in a plaster! Just think how hairy my legs are going to be.
I don't think they will let me go to work in a plaster.
AND I was trying to get signed back on a week ago!
I got the injury when I was pulling this psycho guy off his GF (he was kicking the crap out of her in the street) and then he kicked me in the calf/achilles. NICE.
It would have been more sensible if I had waited for the police, but they were taking SO LONG as they are always called to this house.
Two silver linings have shown up already
1. Met another neighbour in the trauma clinic today
2. Psycho neighbour is going to be evicted by council now.
I am having a bit of a dilemma about pursuing some type of compensation from the Physio department, cause I asked the physio to check my achilles.
Would seem a bit odd to sue the same Trust I work for, however, I can't do on call, which is where I do make a decent wage.
Just waiting for MORE silver linings to show up, cause I am sure there will be a few more.
Whenever there is a major setback, something fantastic always happens
