| i used to be a hardcore gambler, honestly. for years. for atleast 10yr of my life i went on fruit machines basicly everyday. i do still have a few cheats for some if i ever see them, i go and empty them. but they are pritty old ones and have a new chip in them. anyway :-
i used to go to the arcades, where there is like 100 fruit machines in one room, and it got to the stage were i just sat my self down and though of, in that 10yr i could of had all sorts, car, motorbike, nice designed clothes. everything i wanted basicly. so i figured, instead of me keeping my own money, on pay day i give my pay to me dad, for 1 whole month, and got it off him as and when needed. the first week was hard, but at the end of that month, i kept my own money in my own bank account. and i can honestly say in that month i didnt go on them, i bought all sorts, clothes, went out with the lads paintballing, had a realy good laugh, instead of been skint all the time, and since then i walk straight past the arcads and dont even think about going in. i can go to a pub and walk straight past a machine. a mate of mine is still a heavy gambler, i will tell u this, its just happend to him and i wouldnt want it to happen to any one else. well basicly him and his wife saved up £700 to go on holiday this year, he blew it all in the betting shop with out her knowing, she was realy looking forward to going away. now she is looking to devorce him, and they have a 2yr old kid. loseing all that just to bet! bit of a heart breaker ehh. sit tight bro, dont let addiction get a hold of you. enjoy life, and most importantly, enjoy your hard earned money. |
