i buggered my back deadlifting prob 2 years ago now...
doesn't hurt normally even when i'm lifting my heaviest deads and squats... it does hurt after about 60miles on the bike though - shoots through my glute, down my hamstring and through my calf in my right leg...
it does sometimes hurt when i take time off from the gym... the stretching of the hams after some squats and deads though, i find actually help... a lot
