| just got home from Pscarbs show It was a pretty good day, that went fairly smoothly had an excellent standard of competitor and some great guest posers.
On to Paul Scarborough as that was mainly why i was there, when i met him " i commented on how tired i thought he looked " and he said that was the case. He had also had no fluids from around 7pm the day before, it was obviously taking its toll on him.
He was in the under 90kg catagory and i hope he doesnt mind me saying this ( if you do please delete it ), was probably giving away 5 or 6 kg to the other 3 guys in the catagory, the standard as i said earlier was very good indeed.
Paul came on and did the compulsories / comparisons and left the stage with the rest of the guys, he then took to the stage second and performed a good routine to some good music. He had plenty of support from his wife, some of his friends and a few of us who had also gone along to see him show.
We then had the other two guys and a posedown, which was as we know for the benefit of the crowd, whilst the judges totted up the scores. I as well as the few around me had him in 3rd, as it is he was called 4th, 3rd and 2nd were pretty close and if im honest the bloke who won was very good and probably deserved it.
And that was that, over and done with, im sure Pscarb will be looking forward to a good rest and some prep for the new addition to his household, as well as improving himself where he feels he needs to , to enable him to get to the next stage of his competitive career.
As i said earlier the guest posers were excellent as were the competitors and the crowd, id also like to thank Dougie for putting the show on, lmao even though it looked as if he spent most of his time running around in a blind panic or hiding in the bar with a fast Magners and some nuts lol.
ps i have some pics i,ll send them to hackskii with raikeys when i can seeing as he,s sid he,ll resize them for us.
