| It can be perminant but probably wont be.
I am on a TRT board and there are many guys there that are from being heavy users.
Some of them comming off are so depressed that they are suicidal.
I am not making this up and apon request I will post some of their posts and it is brutal.
Some start on TRT and even that is not enough to do the trick to bring them up.
Some guys have been on for years and even 400mg of test cyp a week, the dude was still depressed.
Many of them cant seem to recover, so they go back on.
It can be a vicious cycle.
Sure use and abuse is diffrent but like I said many of those dudes on TRT are ex heavy users that had massive shutdown and now are on TRT for life.
Is it perminant?
Who knows but most docs dont know how to give a protocol for recovery from hypogonadism.
Sunlight by the way can raise serotonin levels and so can some carbohydrates. Sure low test levels can lower serotonin levels.
Many guys that stay on for long periods of time also get depressed.
I do know first hand two individules that I talke too regularly that were way out of control after comming off.
