Longer courses will not yield the beneifts of higher hormonal levles like split workouts.
Cardio with diet had more fat loss.
Carbs with weights offered higher intensity levels and the implications of intensity vs hypertophic effects.
And once the cardio is at an increased range it is easier to keep using less exercise up until a point, then below that it drops off and you will lose gains.
