The amount of protein you need is still very much in debate but a good guide is to get at least 1g per lb of body weight up to a max of 1.5g so for you about 150 - 225g per day , Don't get all your protein from shakes though ( dang I shouldn't be saying that should I ?

) but try to get as much as possible from whole food sources and then use Shakes to make up the difference and for convenience .. Most shakes mix very well these days either in a Shaker cup or Blender there is not excuse for a poorly mixing shake IMO so avoid ones that don't mix easily and well
