| Thx guys, your info taken on board. I've seen many people bang the DB's together & thought this can't be right as there seems to be little control at the top. Simply resting the weights against each other, rather than controllling the weight & holding for 1-2 secs for a nice contraction. I then tried this method & this didn't feel any good to me, quality of work seemed poor. Last night I changed my method by pushing straight up at shoulder width and this forced me to control the weight & felt much better. I guess the key here is to make sure one is simply in control of the weight at all times, whether letting the DB's touch each other or not. Think, i'll press the weight up leaving a slight gap in between the DB's in the future though. Once again thx for your help folks. Ralphy |
