i got told by a powerlifter-and i base this on what he said not personal experience-that you should eat a small tin of rice pudding two hours before you hit the weights. me myself i have something like jacket spud and a chicken breast about 2 1/2 hours before training. i find that if i have creatine with any sort of transport(i.e dextrose)then i will have a real sh1t training session. same goes if i eat before hitting the gym. probably something to do with blood sugar levels fluctuating
