Hi guys, just need a really simple answer to my query.
If you overtrain does this mean that you still get the benefit of the correct amount but that the extra is just a waste of time, or,
does it mean that you arent actually going to have as good a result as if you rested more.
At the moment i go to the gym 3 times a week and train each muscle group each time, doin 3 x 8 of as heavy as i can lift.
From what i gather this is way too much to be fully beneficial, but the trainer at the gym set me on this program and he reckons its fine!!
Plus, anyone got any simple advice for what supplements are good for beginners, or just good in general.
