heres what iv just found researching it

L-arginine, What is it?

You can buy L-arginine as a nutritional supplement. It's one of a group of chemicals called amino acids, which your body uses to make proteins.

To make an erection happen, nerves in your penis need to make a chemical called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is made from L-arginine, so doctors think that taking L-arginine might help you get an erection.

You can buy L-arginine on its own or as part of supplements. You can't get it as a prescription but it is available in health food shops and on the Internet.

How can it help?

We're not sure whether L-arginine can help. More research is needed to see if it can give you erections.

Why should it work?

L-arginine is changed into nitric oxide by a chemical reaction in the body. Nitric oxide makes the spongy parts of your penis fill with blood. This is what happens when you get an erection. So, in theory, L-arginine could help you get an erection because your body will have more nitric oxide.

See What are erection problems? to learn more about how erections happen.

Can it be harmful?

In one small study, some men with erection problems took L-arginine. Some of these men had:1
A small drop in blood pressure
Small changes in heart rate.
But neither of these side effects caused any harm.

In other studies, people with different conditions got some other side effects when they took L-arginine:2
Feeling sick
Diarrhoea
Headaches
Flushing (getting red in the face)
Feeling numb.

Might be worth a try just trying this stuff first mate
