| New training split-suggestions anyone? decided it's time for a change.
previous split:
Monday:Back
Tuesday:Rest
Wednesday:Legs and shoulders
Thursday:Rest
Friday:Chest
New plan:
Monday:Legs
Tuesday:Chest
Wednesday:Rest
Thursday:Back
Friday:Shoulders
and rest on weekends.
the reasons for this are because i think my body has become too used to current routine,have stopped making increases in bench press etc.Also don't like any soreness in the shoulder when hitting back or chest,as i feel i may be risking overtraining them,this way i will have 3 days rest before doing chest.As for arms, i sometimes do a few sets for biceps with back,and same for triceps.this is what i was advised 2 do when i started lifting by an ex-pro,and my arms have grown fine like this. |
