All whey protein shakes have an amount of carbs in them, whether it be large or small amounts, they still have them in!

I think if you are happy with your shape and size or need to go onto a cutting phase or are trying to lose a bit of BF/weight then a pure whey would be ideal.

Everyone has different opinions when it comes to supplements, so its a case of trial and error.

Some people dont like jumping from a mass gainer down to a pure whey, so they switch to a MRP such as Met-RX drink mix's or EAS Myoplex. Still have the consistency of a mass gainer and fill you up but without all the sugary carbs. The MRP shakes tend to stick around the 20g-40g mark.
