| I'd say a better bet would be to cycle your carbs, keep them low four days, higher for 2 then double them for 1. For example, set a level, say 200g for your low days, allows you to function like a normal human being. 300g for your 2 higher days then 400g for the last day. Going low carbs allows you to burn more bodyfat for energy, and after 3-4 days your metabolism starts to slow down. Bumping up your carbs tricks the body into thinking youre off the diet and your metabolism cranks up again. Then your back on the low carbs with a fast metabolism. Worked well for me, i tried the atkins and lost sh8tloads of weight, but felt like i dropped a tonne of muscle too. If your after quick weightloss, go for the atkins though |
